HOW TO EASILY REMOVE THE SEMI-PERMANENT NAIL POLISH?

AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS WITH BEAUTIFUL NAILS, COMES THE MOMENT TO REMOVE THE SEMI-PERMANENT NAIL POLISH. YOU ARE TOLD HOW TO REMOVE IT EFFECTIVELY WITHOUT DAMAGING YOUR NAILS.

When to remove my semi-permanent nail polish?

In general, the semi-permanent varnish is between 2 and 3 weeks old. It is a good alternative for those who can not keep a classic polish more than 2 days. When you start to see a demarcation between the nail polish and the cuticle, it’s the right time to remove it. Above all, it avoids pulling and pulling the nail polish , because it  will damage the nails  and they may take several days – even weeks – to recover from this abuse.

Which technique to use?

The semi-permanent varnish is designed to hold very long, so it can not be removed as a classic varnish. But with a little equipment and patience, nothing impossible! It is equipped with cotton, solvent with acetone, a cuticle regrowth and possibly a polisher. Optional first step: the polisher is gently passed over the varnish to make the layer to be removed thinner.

1. Technique No.1: aluminum foil
The idea is to create a kind of foil around the nail . Cottons of solvent are soaked and placed on each nail. Then they are wrapped in aluminum foil. Let’s ask and then remove the foil. The varnish will be softer, and easy to take off with the cuticle regrowth. Easy as pie !

2. Technique No.2: the special kits
On the same principle as the foils of home aluminum, kits exist with pre-soaked cotton and kind of reusable tips that are placed on his nails. Then, we proceed in the same way as with aluminum: we remove the tips and we take off the varnish with the cuticle regrowth.

3. Technique No.3: the solvent bath
In a container, pour a little acetone remover and dip your nails in for a few minutes. Again, the varnish will soften and the solvent will have overcome the semi-permanent. Then, remove the varnish delicately. This technique is just as effective as the others, but beware of the waste of solvents !

How to cure my nails after the solvent?

Be careful not to string together the poses of semi-permanent varnish . UV and LEDs can weaken the nails, so if you want them to be strong, make sure to space the manicures. Like our skin or hair, nails need care and attention. You can opt for oil massages, such as castor oil found in drugstore or specialty store. But there are also other specific treatments.
